restore iPhoto library

Hi,

I'm trying to install Win XP on my Intel iMac (as explained here: http://onmac.net/). Since the hard disk needs to be repartitioned and Mac OS needs to be reinstalled, I copied all the folders in my home directory that I used (music, pictures, etc.) to my external hard disk. Now, can anyone explain me how to restore my iPhoto library keeping the albums I created?

When i do it it i just copy the entire 'iPhoto Library' folder out of pictures to the external hd and after the reinstall just copy it back to the pictures folder from the external hd, has always worked fine for me. Albums always remain intact.
