Restore .iso onto USB flash drive to upgrade SSD firmware

Hi all,
I've recently installed a Samsung 840 EVO in my MBP.
Runs fine, but I would like to update it to the latest firmware available- the Samsung support site gives me the download for an .iso to be burned to disc.
I'd rather not waste the disc so I partitioned a flash drive and tried to restore onto one of the partitions.

When I drag the partition into the destination (with the iso set as the source) I'm coming up with this error.

Could not validate source - Invalid argument

Any tips on troubleshooting this?
