I have a Intel iMac desktop purchased new three months ago. Under Mailboxes on the very left side of the screen is the heading On My Mac, and under this are mailboxes from my previous PC which were transferred over, and the number of messages is shown (13836)

After my wife registered with a medical insurance group this morning, all of the mailbox names disappeared, leaving only Inbox, two mailboxes with our names, Sent, Trash, and RSS. The words ON MY MAC appear, but below that where the other folder names appeared, it is blank.

If I take a message from the Inbox, I can still move or copy it to any of the older folders (all the names are shown) but there is no way to access any of them. I would like to know how to restore these to On My Mac as they appeared previously.
