As title say's, how would I go about this? I had a 13" MBP bought late 2010 and have now just received my new 15" MBP last night. I have transferred all pictures etc via Ethernet and am now looking to restore the old MBP as I'm giving it to a family member, the old MBP didn't come with any disc's either, so any help would be appreciated!!

Without restore disks I think the best you can do is add a new account for the family member then delete your account from the machine. The login from the new family account and do and Erase free space from Disk Util.
That would wipe any data you had in the user folders.
