Getting a 5.0.1 jailbroken (Redsnow untethered) IP4 later today (Yeah!)

I have a backup I made on a non-jailbroken 5.0.1 (different) IP4. Can I just do a restore of all my apps etc using the non-jailbreak backup onto the IP4 that is newly jailbroken ? ... or will that totally mess-up the jailbroken IP4???

/bd

Don't quote me on this, but I think it should be fine! I don't think it touches the jailbroken files. Wait for more verification though!

you will need to re-jailbreak after you restore.

I believe OP is refring to restoring the backup, no restoring the firmware, so he doesn;t need to re-jailbreak.

@OP, as AJ said, you are fine just restore your pre-jailbreak backup and all apps and settings will come back, and you will still be JBed ;)
