Hey Guys,
I am so sick of waiting on hold for Apple's support that I thought I'd try asking my question here.
I have a brand new Macbook Pro Retina that I am trying to restore an old iPhoto library using Time Machine on.
If I navigate through finder to the external hard drive it does list my backups, so I know that they are backed up. However, when I launch time machine I cannot get myself to those backups (in say April of 2014). Time Machine obviously displays the cascading windows and I can't go "back in time" so to say. The restore button never highlights and I am really only able to look at the screen and hit cancel.
I hope that's enough information I am not intentionally trying to be vague here
I have the backups copied to two drives that are both functioning correctly. I would really like to get some of these photos back if possible so any help would be appreciated!
Rob
