Restore only a few apps on new iPad?

I set up my new iPad as a new device, but I would like to transfer game data from just a few games from my iPad 1. I haven't yet plugged the new iPad into my computer, but I did a backup of the old iPad. Is it going to be possible to just restore a few apps on the new iPad, or is it an all or nothing kind of thing? I would like to not have to start over on those games. Thanks for any help you can give me. :p
 
While your data is restoring, you can delete the apps you don't want to restore by holding their icon and tapping the x.

There might be a better way but I haven't found it.
