Restore only photos and messages from backup

Hello,

Is there a way to only restore messages and photos from my iPhone backup?

My current backup has issues. For example, contacts on my iPhone show a picture of the wrong contact. Despite icloud.com and my Mac show the right one.

I'd just like to start fresh and new, but keep my photos and messages.
