Restore ONLY pictures/videos?

Hello,

For my upcoming X I would like to do a spring cleaning, meaning I want a fresh start without restoring from my current iPhone.
I do however want to keep all my pictures and videos taken.

Is there any current way to backup and restore/transfer pictures & videos without being forced to transfer any other data and settings?

I believe on Mac you have to use the photo app and export all the pictures from the iphone onto the Mac and then import them to the new phone when you get it. On Windows you can connect the phone with the USB cable and hit Allow on the Iphone screen and access the phone trough "my computer" as external storage and go to DCIM folder there should be folders containing all your pictures and videos and you can copy all the folders to your desktop and then when you get your Iphone X connect it with the USB cable and copy back those folders to the DCIM folder and pictures and videos should be on your new phone... I hope that helps
