All of a sudden and for no apparent reason, iTunes has stopped recognizing my iPhone. I am getting an error message that says: "iTunes cannot read the contents of the iPhone. Go to the Summary tab and click on restore".

I have a jailbroken and unlocked iPhone. I am running 1.1.4. I have a MBP running Leopard and iTunes 7.6. Not sure why it has started doing this. It isn't iTunes as I have tried to connect the phone to another computer and I still get the same message.

I have also tried restarting both as well as a soft reset. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else I can do, or is restore my only option? The iphone works OK, but I cannot sync anymore Mobile Me, or get any music, contacts, iCal etc.

Anybody know any tricks?

Thanks
