Hello People
Think this is in the right section...searched everywhere on the site and cant find anything similar, where my IPAD thinks its an iphone on the restore

Was running the asbinthe jb fine and just wanted to go back to the standard, so I thought it would be as easy as anything. Went onto Itunes and done a restore to factory settings....(had to download the latest firmware first)
That all worked fine, but setting up my IPAD through the basic steps it says "there is a problem with your iphone"
"the iphone you connected may be damaged and cannot be activated for service. We recommend you visit your nearest Apple store for more information"

Any ideas...thought it would be easy to get rid of the Jailbreak but obviously not...have seen there is alot of mention of the recovery mode everywhere

Any help would be great
(running on windows 7 and have restarted my PC)

Problem sorted...could mods delete please :)
Think their activation servers were down
