I have a jailbroken iPod as of now, and last night I was going to restore it so that I could be ready for the 2.0 upgrade today. However, when I went to restore it was going to download 1.1.4, and upgrade to that. I didn't know that was going to happen, I thought I could just restore my iPod to the existing firmware. Anyway, with a slow internet connection where I am, it's going to take close to three hours to download the firmware, and I was wondering if I could restore my iPod after 9PT, and have it upgrade to 2.0...or will I need to restore my iPod now, and then upgrade to 2.0 after??

2.0

When you want to "restore" your iPod Touch, iTunes will automatically use 1.1.4. This is the last "free" firmware for the iPod Touch. If you want 2.0 you'll have to do the restore and than buy the 2.0 upgrade.
