I've got a iPhone 6 on 8.3 (Jailbroken).

I've got an iPhone 7 on the way and I'm trying to determine how best I should transfer my data, if at all.

I haven't ever bothered to connect it to iTunes yet and the free iCloud storage was full months ago. The only thing I care about are my messages, unplayed podcasts and pictures.

Pretty sure I can save the pics and podcasts to iTunes independent of a system backup.

I don't think I can transfer messages without restore.

To me, speed is more important than saving the messages.

Is there any way to transfer messages by themselves and does a system restore slow the phone down at all?

Just trying to figure out the best procedure to use.

(I have messages on my iPad (also Jailbroken on 8.3, never connected to iTunes either).
