Resolved Restore widget using Time Machine?

So apparently I deleted the ESPN widget and emptied the trash...DOH!

How do I go about restoring from Time Machine?

Late 2001 Macbook Pro running OS X Lion 10.7.3.

Where did my widget go?

OK...I found the widget under Macintosh HD/Library/Widgets and restored it, but now the widget does not show up.

Has anyone ever dealt with an disappearing widget?

I also tried deleting /Users/username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dashboard.plist and restarting but the ESPN widget is still not there? hmmmm...


Resolved: For some reason the ESPN widget was zero bytes. I restored from an earlier version in Time Machine and it shows up now.

Weird.
