I erased my phone after making sure it had completed an iCloud backup, and went to restore from that backup, after several tedious hours of apps re-downloading, everything was back as it should be, except my camera roll is gone. I've checked in iCloud and it says I have about a gig of camera roll backup, how can I get this to restore back onto my phone? I've tried about 5 times now and am throughly unimpressed.
Is there anyway of downloading this info from iCloud, or forcing that part to restore? Or just making it work properly?
The phone isn't jailbroken, and I've done a fresh restore, it's a 32gb iPhone 4.
Since iOS 5 has come along, I've been syncing it to my laptop less and less, backups are now in the cloud, and as a result I am not certain that everything on there is on my laptop. Even if it is, I had a bunch of stuff on there that I wanted to keep on there. This is what apple clearly wants us to do, but their backup/restore solution is wonky! :(
