So long story short my 2014 iMac died. I now have a newer one (2017) and after restoring my files, network settings and applications through the utility (migration assistant) I have a very strange issue. Applications seem ok (lots of configuring still to do) and I can access it remotely using splashtop streamer but I cannot browse the web. Chrome and Safari just sit's there trying to being up a website. Not even google will work. Though it might be DNS but I can do NSlookups through terminal fine. Any thoughts on what might be wrong? I cant even download firefox to try a different browswer.
