I have a iPad 4 32GB Wifi latest edition.
Hi, I had an issue, the other memory used to eat half of the memory always. I dont get it, what the damn that is.

I just restored iOS again, and still the other memory shows 16GB filled.

What to do ?

How to get this OTHER memory to 0 ?

Its not even letting my backup to restore for this .

It will never be 0. You should DFU restore (google that) If you put your backup on the iPad and your "other" goes up, abandon your backup and sync your items, do not restore.

1. I have no idea about DFU mode, neither I have a Apple Developer Account.
2. Yes, I know other memory wont ever be 0 , but atleast not more than 500-600MB, in that case, it should be fine for me.
3. Isn't there a way to delete this OTHER memory block or clean it up ? Actually, what that is ?
4. How to sync the apps alone, without restoring the backup ?
5. Even if I setup the iPad as new iPad, without clicking on restore from backup, the new iPad with newly restored OS, also shows OTHER Memory as 11.5GB or something.

There has to have a solution.
