Restored Macbook Pro wont let me sign in?

I restored my Macbook Pro's software back down to snow leapord with the cd's i have. Once it finished it said the name of my account so i clicked and tried to sign in. It would not take my password. It would shake when i typed it in. So i clicked on reset password and it asked for my master password to create a new password. I did that and it worked and when i typed in a new password and varified it and then click enter it would shake as if it was wrong. I tried many different types of passwords and still no luck. Please help!!
