I've had a jailbroken iPhone for over a day now, but have decided to restore. The reason? I miss the stability. Programs crash more frequently when it's jailbroken, especially Safari when you make heavy use of it.
There are also just little things that are iffy when the iPhone is jailbroken - not everything works as expected. I was composing an email, clicked the home button, and when I returned to Mail, the email was gone; and in one Safari crash, it cleared my recent browsing history!
Going back to how the iPhone is originally just feels more stable, and solid, where as having it jailbroken just made it unreliable.
I think what has been done with the 3rd party apps, and hacks is amazing, but I can't overlook the price of stability and reliability. Very much looking forward to the official SDK, and hope many of the jailbreak apps will be ported over.
