I have restored the machine a number of times and I've never found it not restoring dashboard stickies during the restore... Dashboard was restored and the stickies are in the same place but they are completely blank... strange.

I use a 500gb partition on an external drive for time machine (since my HD only has ~360gb on it) and after the restore and I researched the time machine folders "/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.stickies.plist" Which is where Sticky data is stored (if I'm correct)

It looks like time machine didn't even save the backup that I restored to, am I missing something? Time Machine only has the sticky plist from a few hours back.

I used a backup from 1/31 last night before I went to bed and it deleted it?

It looks like I definitely won't get my dashboard stickies back since some of them were important.

Thoughts?

Thanks in advance-
