Restoring a late 08 unibody macbook on lion

Just wondering how to do this, do i download it from the app store and install it to a disk, or do these have the ability to restore to that os from the internet or what?

Drew017 hit the nail on the head. I would recommend making a thumb drive with Lion on it as your install should go faster than if you burnt the image to a disc.

I agree. Just make sure your thumb drive is at least an 8GB or more to make sure you have enough space!
