Restoring a SL backup onto a Lion machine?

Hey all,

Getting ready to purchase a new Mini but my backup is from a Snow Leopard machine. Will it be able to restore from this backup or will I need to take extra steps/voodoo to make it work?

If the Mac comes with Lion, like the new Mini's and Air's, then it will not run Snow Leopard. But you can use the Migration Assistant to move your data over from a Time Machine backup.

And bumping is not allowed on Macrumors.
