Hello folks,
Tomorrow I am getting my iPhone replaced by Apple because of some faulty hardware. My problem is that I have iOS 7 (my UDID is registered) on my current phone, so all of the backups I have are for iOS 7. When I get the new phone I will be registering the UDID ASAP, but initially I will need to use the phone before I get the chance to do that.
So, how do I go about installing iOS 7 on the new device without overwriting any of the backups? After upgrading the software I plan restore to my backup.
Any advice?
Thanks
