Restoring an ios7 backup

Hello! I was wondering if anyone happens to know how I can restore an ios7 backup when Apple releases it. I had downloaded ios7 last week, and uninstalled it yesterday so I could get Apple's 'official' version. When I uninstalled it I wasn't able to access my ios6 backup so I have nothing on my phone. I was wondering if when I upgrade to ios7 it will give me an option to restore it, but still keep the new ios...if any of that makes sense.
