iPad Restoring an iPad 2 on 5.0.1

I've been on 5.0.1 since the jailbreak came out.

Recently my iPad been kinda slow and I wanted to clean it up so I figured I'd restore.

I downloaded the iPad 2 wifi 5.0.1 FW that is identical to the one I.m running now but when I go to restore (holding shift) and select the FW it says:

Phil's iPad could not be restored because the FW is not compatible.

Help?

Also if iTunes did accept it and started to restore will I be able to go through or am I just wasting my time?

This is also happening with my iphone (5.0.1) when I try to update to 5.1.1 with the FW dl directly from apple.

Maybe its something with itunes?

If you dont have your SHSH/APTicket saved for 5.01 you can't restore to it.
Apple stopped signing the 5.01 IPSW 3 days after 5.1.1 came out.

You can stay on 5.01 or update to 5.1.1 and rejailbreak.

Put it in DFU-mode, it will upgrade to 5.1.1.
