Restoring Blob help/

Hi, im trying to downgrade my ipad 2 to 4.3.3. tiny umbrella acknolwedes the 4.3.3 blob i saved before i jailbroke it, but i cant find the file on my compouter.

its says shsh saved directory is

/Users/Mike/.shsh

If you want to make sure that you have the file you have 2 choice

1 open tiny umbrella then click on your device, in the middle of the page there is a white box that is all your shah saved for that device.

2) Open terminal and write cp /Users/Mike/.shsh

inside write ls and see what it shows you.


Here is how to downgrade your Ios.

1) Open Tiny umbrella and click on start TSS server
2) Open terminal and type ping gs.apple.com (it should answer 127.0.0.1
3) Open iTunes and go to your device and press (keep pressing) Option
4) While option is pressed click on restore, and select the Official firmware for the IOS you want to downgrade to for the good device

Exemple Ipad2 GSM 4.3.3

Let itunes do the rest.

a few questions

Do i put my ipad in DFU mode?

I watched a few tuts and they said when you do that the restore in itunes pops up, which it did. I then hit Alt and restore and the window opened for me to choose the firmware, But i couldn't find it. I know I have it i just dont know where it is.

Iirc you don't have to get it in DFU mode

You just need to find your .ipsw

If you can't find it, just google your iPad version and download it.

Just be careful there is 3 Ipad2 files

1 just for WIFI
1 for 3g CDMA (Verizon)
1 for 3g GSM (AT&T)

i just tried to restore and i cant find the file for the firmware

Redownload a new copy of the Firmware if you can't find it on your Mac
