So I've tried everything.

A mate accidentally upgraded my iPhone to the latest firmware. I have downgraded and have jailbreaked, but of course, you can't restore data and settings from a 4.0 upgrade with 3.1.3.

I've SSH'd the necessary files (from an extraction before downgrading) to modify the iPhone directory (In this case, SMS and contacts. I can't think of any other data I truly need) but that doesn't work either. I would even ditch restoring SMS files and just deal with contacts by painstakingly inputting contacts while reading the sqlite file but I haven't found an easy way to do that.

Any help here? I've made a permanent move to a new city with my desktop left on its lonesome and need my address book.

EDIT: Well I managed to grab some somewhat old Address Book files and import them onto a temporary Mac I'm using, which I then synced to my iPhone. Of course, any help with extracting more recent data I have mentioned above before downgrading would be great.
