Restoring Firefox

I accidentally deleted firefox and app trap moved all of my files to the trash bin. i moved them out of my trash but i had to redownload firefox and i want to restore the files so my old firefox is working. how can i do this? thx

Good, but that doesn't help anyone else experiencing the same problem who happens upon this thread. Perhaps if you share the solution, it will shed some light on the precise problem, which isn't real clear to me. I'm guessing that you were worried about losing Bookmarks, but I'm not sure.

you take your old profile folder that is titled default. open it and copy all items in it. find your new profile folder, erase all of the contents in the default folder and paste the old items into it. do all of this with firefox closed.
