restoring from 1.1.2 to 1.0.2 pls help

hi i have 2g iphone software unlocked with 1.1.2 and when i went to itunes and vlick shift+update and choose 2.1 file it gave me error messege and can;t update then it gave me other messege that ituens detected iphone in recovery mode u must restore if i restore to 1.0.2 will it relock my iphone psl.. help i don;t want to relock it i want it unlcoked after restoring
