I've downgraded from 6.1 beta to 6.0.2, but as I should have expected, iTunes won't let me restore using the backup I made since it was made with a newer version of iOS.

Does anyone know if there's a way to get around this? I have too many apps and settings to just restore as a new phone and reconfigure everything. I read a comment in another post where someone said they thought there was a way to edit the 6.1 backup file to make it work for a restore on 6.0.2.

Not what I wanted to hear, but thanks, guys.

The only reason I care is that there seems to be a bug in 6.1 that's preventing me from connecting to a closed hotel wifi network, even though I have an access key. Guess I'll just have to live with it :)

Sorry, just how did you downgrade from 6.1 to 6.0.2?
Would like to do it.

Thank you very much.
