restoring HDD on Black Macbook mid 2007, but no dvd..

hi everyone, im trying to restore my HDD on my black macbook intel core 2 duo. I can't seem to find my install disk for it, what are my options? thanks for the help

Go into the apple store with your computer and request the DVDs for it. They might be generous and give them to you for free, but most likely they will be $30

I think you can just download the install dmg from the App Store and create a bootable usb to reinstall the OS. There are plenty of tutorials online for this. You will need an 8gb flash drive though.
