Found this article from iMazing guys. They state that you can restore iOS 12 beta backup after downgrading to 11.4.1 with minor edits to the .plist file.

Tested it today and it worked as described in the article. Will keep an eye on it for several days to check if this causes any troubles for workflow.

If everything will be OK I think this may be really useful for people that want to get back to 11.4.1 but have a large Photos library that can't be saved to iCloud, and this should be extremely useful to save apps data. What do you think?

This has been possible in the past, by using the same method to edit the .plist file. The issue comes down to using apps that were previously "updated" in the newer iOS version. For example, Messages and Music wouldn't work after doing this last year from iOS 11 -> iOS 10 because of changes to the apps themselves. I attempted this method and the apps would not open, and my only option was to restore as new or go back to iOS 11 and restore from that backup. (I didn't want to use my iOS 10 archived backup as it was out of date).
