my old phone 3g is synched to my imac running os x 10.4 and itunes 9.
I bought an iphone 4 and a macbook pro running os x 10.6 and itunes 10.
how can I activate the new iphone 4 and transfer existing apps, contacts, sms, playlists from my old iphone3g? since iphone 4 won't talk to old imac, cuz itunes 10 won't run on the old OS.
Someone suggested to synch iphone 3g in old imac then somehow upload the restore file to cloud. Then access cloud with macbook pro, download and then activate iphone 4 on macbook via restore?
any suggestions or am I screwed here?
