Hi!! I hope I'm on the right thread, if not, my apologies in advance.

(I'm using an IPhone 3GS- upgraded to iOS5 and a MacBook running Lion.)

Yesterday I restored my IPhone from backup. The phone worked normal within minutes, but since then ITunes is stuck and displaying a restore time window which doesn't move except to increase the wait time. At first it said the restore would take 45 mins, then one hour and so on. Now more than 19 hrs later and the restore window on ITunes says 57hrs to go and the blue bar has not moved...

The MacBook runs normal on other windows, just not ITunes. The IPhone works normal too, all the old info is there, except for the mobileme calendar, but that's for another thread. I can't do anything on ITunes, though, other than wait, which seems to only increase the time counter while nothing else seems to happen. I have been tempted to Force Quit ITunes, but I didn't dare unless somebody more knowledgeable advices me that that's it's the way to go.

So what do you all think? Has this happened to anyone else? Should I keep waiting or should I Force Quit ITunes? Could that help or make things worse?

Can someone please help?

Thanks in advance!

Anastasia
