Hey guys,

So it's my understanding that as long A5 iDevice users DO NOT upgrade to iOS 6, they can RE-restore from iOS 5.1.1 to 5.1.1 indefinitely with Redsn0w, provided they have their SHSH blobs/APTicket backed up. But then I just read that this function has no been released yet. Anyway, I am ready to RE-restore my iPhone 4S NOW, but don't want to risk anything happening that would force me to have to upgrade to 6. Is it already possible, or do we have to wait for the Redsn0w update to be released?

Seriously??? Just go to the source if you are still confused. Or look at any of the 15 threads we have going right now discussing this exact topic.

Edit: To directly answer your question, no you can't restore to 5.1.1 yet. Out of curiosity, why now and why didn't you just do it before apple stopped signing it? That link I provided will be updated when redsn0w is released. Or visit this forum. Or idownloadblog. Or ijailbreak. Or google.
