As the thread title says, I'm trying to restore my iPhone 4s from iOS 9.1 to iOS 6. Technically, I'm trying to downgrade back to 9.0.2 right now, but I'm sure you get the idea.

I obvious don't mind if there are multiple restorations and/or jailbreaking needed to do so;I just want my iPhone to be back to iOS 6.

Thanks.

First off you need to solve the jailbreak problem. There is a way, but you have to be jailbroken first. There is currently no jailbreak for 9.1 or 9.2 so until a JB is released you can't.

PS. Do not be surprised if the mods move this thread in to the jailbreak section.

iOS 9.2 is the only firmware you can currently restore your 4s to. Once a jailbreak for 9.2 or below comes out, jailbreak your 4s and you will be able to downgrade to iOS 6, not 9.0.2.

You need to be on a version of iOS that is jailbreakable, jailbreak, then you can downgrade.

If you are not currently on a version of iOS that you can jailbreak you can't downgrade.
