I found this link in the forum:
https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/983491/ and it contains the following links:

= iPhonw 4 =
- 4.0.0 Firmware & 01.59.00 Baseband Click me
- 4.0.1 Firmware & 01.59.00 Baseband Click me
- 4.0.2 Firmware & 01.59.00 Baseband Click me
- 4.1.0 Firmware & 02.10.04 Baseband Click me
- 4.2.1 Firmware & 03.10.01 Baseband Click Me
- 4.3.0 Firmware & 04.10.01 Baseband Click Me
- 4.3.1 Firmware & 04.10.01 Baseband Click Me

I wanted to completely erase my iphone and sell it but if i do it via itunes, it will upgrade it to iOS 4.3.3. I want to keep 4.2.1 so is it possible to save the 4.2.1 firmware and restore using that. That way, i will still have my 4.2.1. Also, can i just restore to the 4.0.0 fireware & 01.59.00 baseband, this will allow me to unlock the iphone without gevey sim.

If your iPhone isn't on 4.2.1 and isn't jailbroken, you won't have SHSH which means you can't restore to 4.2.1. Also, you cannot restore to 4.0 to get the 1.59.00 baseband because it's impossible to downgrade the baseband on an iPhone 4 and you most likely don't have the SHSH to downgrade the firmware anyway. Even if you had SHSH for 4.0, 4.0.1 or 4.0.2, made a custom firmware and restored to it, you'd still have whatever baseband you're on now.

So no, if you want to restore your iPhone to factory defaults, you are forced to go to 4.3.3. In addition to this, you will never be able to have 1.59.00 baseband and the only unlock option is Gevey.
