I am having some difficulty trying to have my Ipod 4 to synch with my iMac 10.6.

I don't want to upgrade iTune 10.7 to 11. However, every time I boot up iTune comes up with a -4899 error message. I checked to see which version I still have and sure enough it shows 10.

But once I connect my iPod then I get a message that I need to restore to factory setting which will force me to go to V.11.

I have in TM iTune V.10.7 I tried to restore iTune from TM but apparently is not taking it. At the moment my iPOD is useless when it comes to synch calendar, uploading files.

restoring iPod

Because it sucks and almost all reviews are saying the same

People are trying so hard to go back to iTune 10.7 because V.11.

And yet so far no one wants to tell me how to do it, very interesting

iTunes 11 isn't bad at all. If you want the sidebar back just click view on the top bar (for mac which you have), then click show sidebar. It's as simple as that.
