Just a iphone restore newbie here. I got a 3g iphone off a friend of mine, didnt do a restore or anything, jailbroke it with spirit release and also picked up a gophone sim and swapped the apn settings to get data to working on it.
I decided i dont really want the phone anymore and want to get rid of it. I need to do a complete wipe/restore but it seems as if im getting mixed data that if i do a restore via itunes i might get stuck at the activation/connect to itunes screen?
i guess my question is, how do i go about doing a full restore to factory settings and having access to the springboard? will my att gophone sim allow it to get activated?
