Question - I had an OWC Mercury SSD in my 2010 MBP which died. OWC replaced it under the terms of their warranty. I have the new SSD installed into my MacBook Pro, and used my Lion USB Recovery Key to partition my new SSD.
My computer was backed up via Time Machine to an Apple Time Capsule.
Do I need to FIRST reinstall Mac OS X Lion onto my new SSD in order to create the Recovery HD Partition, THEN restore from my Time Machine backup? Or will simply restoring from my Time Machine backup fix everything, including adding a Recovery HD Partition?
Also, will File Vault 2 be turned on automatically if it was previously? Or, will I need to turn this back on?
thanks,
Mark
