Hello.

I am trying to restore a playlist that previously had 255 tracks and is now showing in Music as having 60 songs.

I have gone to my time Machine backup and selected the ‘Music Library’ file from October 2022 (the first available backup and probably the last time there was a change to it) and copied and pasted this into the Music folder. However, when I open Music my favourites playlist still only has the 60 songs and not the 255 that would be in the backup.

How do I get Music to use the backed up version of the playlist?

Many thanks.

M.

Finally managed to do this by disabling wifi, restarting Mac, option + click Music, select an older playlist. My 255 song playlist is back.
