Restoring Passwords on new Iphone4s

I am updating from old iphone3G to iphone4s

and i pick restore from backup

anyone know why my gmail passwords arent there

and my other passwords from other apps....

is that included in restore

any way to get them back

or do i have to reinput them manually?
