macOS Restoring Serial Number

Does anyone have a working utility/script to restore a serial number to a Mac? We have a number of Macs throughout our district that had their logic boards replaced, and were returned without a serial number. We cannot enroll them in Profile Manager without a serial number.

It requires a utility only Apple has. You won't be able to do it yourself.

Contact your service provider. They should have reset the serial number as part of the repair, and can still do so on those computers.
