A couple of (probably stupid) questions

1.) How do I do this?
2.) Does it delete all of my music, videos and photos when I restore it?

Thanks,

Michael.

open itunes
-plug ipod into computer
-hold both sleep/wake and home button until ipod restarts.
-let go of of the sleep/wake button when you see apple logo.
-hold home button until itunes pops up with recovery mode
-click yes, and your ipod with be restored to its factory settings.

YES - it looks like it did when it came out of the box

1. So apple can't tell if you've ever jailbroken the iPod Touch?

and

2. Do the appsnap and installer.app thing work with 1.1.2?

and

3. Can you do it all over Safari on the iPod? (i.e., no need to use a computer like with the iPhone).

LISTEN:

Here are your choices. It's quite simple so no need to start asking all these questions all over the forum:

1) Restore your iPod so you can install the newest update. Your iPod will work like it did out of the box and you will have the same basic apps as if you just bought the thing. Nothing new, no customization... nothing but your iPod touch.

2) DO NOT update and enjoy a personalized iPod touch sans any differences in the new update.

It's that simple. No, really it is.

Anyone know what the update actually does? If it will help in the Wifi dept with my Sprint EX720 Expresscard sharing from my MBP in OSX I might just want to sacrifice my Jailbreak, knowing the Jailbreak 1.1.2 update is probably here already.
