I had partition map damage to my 10.7.5 ssd boot drive which fortunately left everything intact but caused boot up failure. A re-installation of the OS fixed things with a few minor glitches. One is that Time Machine preferences were lost, maybe because I temporarily renamed the boot drive during the process (now restored to original name). Can I just point my drives to the original TM backup drives in TM preferences and proceed as if there was no interruption?
