Is there a way to only allow time machine to use so much space on a NAS.

I've added a new user to my NAS, a Seagate Personal Cloud, but don't want TM to runway with as much space as there is left on the NAS.

I've looked in all ways in settings on MacOS and on the NAS webpage setup but can't see.

I'm on latest version of MacOS on an iMac.

Thanks

Since you have nothing there yet, can you destroy the volume you created for TM and create a new one with a fixed size of what you want it to max out at? Most NAS devices let you have more than one volume, so you could create a TM-specific volume of a fixed size and use the rest for your other file share(s).
