I am having problems getting my iPhone working in Thailand.
Maybe I am missing something but I can't seem to get 1st Generation to unlocked. I haved tried Quickpwn and Pwnage Tool. Everything seems to go well during the flashing no error, etc. I have tried every option in BootNeuter, with the 3.9 and 4.6 bootloaders. All I see is no "no service" or I get the signal icon with no bars in the upper left hand corner. I have tried re-flashing to a stock 2.0.2 firmware and then loading the JailBroken 2.1 firmware. I have tried flashing with the sim card installed and without. I have tried re-activating it. I don't know if this helps but it was a OTB 1.1.2.

I don't know if this would cause even more problems but my next thing I was going to try was to put my sim into another phone and see if it will work in it.

My sim is a DTAC Happy that I ordered directly back when I was state-side.

In settings under "Carriers" I see 4 networks plus "Automatic" but they all display "Restricted Network" when I pick them any of them.

They show up as

TH-DTAC
True
TH GSM
TH GSM 1800

Any ideas?

Thank you
