Hi there, I work in a school and were currently running Mac OS Lion Server and the Macs I am currently working on are running Lion. Both the Server and the client OS' are fully up to date.

Is it possible to "Allow all Applications" and then specify which applications I want restricted? For example, I want the users to be able to use any application but I want to specifically deny them access to "Terminal".

I know you can "restrict all applications" and allow certain applications but this causes many issues when the users are using the Macs.

Thanks in advance for any help,
Morgan

OK I've found a workaround.

Instead of picking applications one by one in Workgroup Manager, I have restricted the folder 'Utilities' and have allows the folder 'Applications' this seems to have done the trick for me so far.
