Got a new 8+a couple weeks ago and updated to 11.1 and restored from a backup. I noticed that my Airdrop was not working one day and ran through some settings and tested with my wife’s phone, her iPad and my Mac. In searching, I noticed that my restrictions were turned on. I’m sure I’ve never enabled this, but none of the passcodes I usually use will work. I assume this is what’s keeping my AirDrop from working. In searching, this is apparently a bug that’s been around for awhile (since iOS 7). Anyone else having this issue? I’m going to try a few tools like Pinfinder before the last resort of wiping the phone. Default passcodes like 0000, 1234 don’t seem to work. Anyone else with this problem?
