Why is it I am getting the message to alter 'restrictions when I try to purchase a move through Apple TV, and how do I find restrictions and alter it?

Could you post the exact message or a screenshot of what you see after you hit the Buy button? Are you logged into the Apple TV app using your primary Apple ID, and is it set up to make purchases?

Yes, sorry there's a screenshot. The purchase is tried to be made with a MacBook Air

Open Apple TV app on the Mac. TV->Preferences...->Restictions. See what option are set in Restrictions.

Thanks the box was checked that said, don't allow purchases, I don't know why it was like that unless it was the default or update did it
